Iris
Series: The Unseen
Concept
Iris explores the meeting point between vision and interpretation.
Inspired by the structure of the human iris, the work reflects how a single form can hold multiple meanings at once. To one viewer, it may appear as an eye. To another, a landscape, a celestial body, or an opening into something beyond language. That ambiguity is central to the work.
Rather than offering one fixed reading, Iris invites a slower kind of looking the kind that allows perception, memory, and emotion to shape what is seen. In this way, the painting becomes less about an object and more about the quiet relationship between observation and inner experience.
Iris is part of The Unseen, an ongoing collection translating invisible scientific systems into contemplative visual experiences.
